ADDINGTON, England, May 4, 2025–Carl Hester on his Olympic team bronze medal mount Fame added victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday for a double win at this event.
Carl and the 15-year-old KWPN stallion scored 76.936% for the win in the Special, a day after taking the Grand Prix. Carl rode Fame on the gold medal team at the 2023 European Championships in addition to the Paris Olympic bronze.
Laura Tomlinson, making the international debut of the nine-year-old gelding Full Moon II, bred by her late father, was runner-up on 70.404%.
Italy’s Nathalie Wahlund on Gorklintgards Scorpion, 11-year-old Danish gelding, placed third on 68.574%.

Laura Tomlinson on Issey won the Freestyle with a score of 76.070%. The 12-year-old KWPN gelding is owned by her German-American cousin Beatrice Marineau based in Colorado that she competed at Grand Prix at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala last year.
