OCALA, Florida, April 10, 2025–Benjamin Ebeling who this year took over riding Bellena from his father won the World Equestrian Center CDI4* Grand Prix Thursday while Jan Ebeling on Jubi’s Tenacity was runner-up.
Ben and the 15-year-old Hanoverian mare scored 68.717% for the third straight win this month.
Ben Ebeling began competing Bellena two months ago. His father rode the horse at Small Tour beginning in 2019 and moved up to Grand Prix three years later.
Jan Ebeling in the third year of his Big Tour partnership with Jubi’s Tenacity, 15-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, was awarded 68.065% for second.
Canada’s Denielle Gallagher and Come Back de Massa, the 13-year-old Lusitano gelding on which she won four CDIs and place third in two others this year, placed third on 67.630%.
Canada’s Alexandra Duncan rode the 13-year-old stallion Hitmaker to victory on a score of 68.413% in the CDI3* Grand Prix, the first international competition for the partnership. Hitmaker was ridden at Big Tour for the past two years by Jennifer Sekreve of the Netherlands.
