DEL MAR, California, Mar. 22, 2025–Anna Buffini and Fiontini won the CDI3* Grand Prix Saturday, the first competition for the partnership in almost nine months.
Anna, based at nearby Rancho Santa Fe, and the 15-year-old Danish Warmblood mare were awarded 69.000%, with a low of 66.196 and third place by one of the five judges.
The last competition for Anna and Fiontini was on the U.S. team at the Nations Cup in Aachen, Germany last July.
Kristina Harrison-Antell of Los Angeles and Finley, 15-year-old KWPN gelding, scored 67.956% for runner-up in the competition with four starting combinations.
Canada’s Claire Robinson on the 14-year-old KWPN gelding Glamour Boy scored 64.804% as the top scoring of four contestants in the CDI3* to qualify for the Special.
