The 18 rider and horse combinations for the World Cup in Basel, Switzerland were announced Tuesday with Isabell Werth of Germany and Britain’s Charlotte Fry on her world champion Glamourdale among 11 from Western Europe and USA’s Adrienne Lyle on her Olympic mount Helix leading three from the United States.
The FEI–International Equestrian Federation–announced the 18 rider and horse combinations from around the globe that will compete in the Grand Prix on Friday April 4 and the Freestyle to determine the title on Saturday April 5.
This will be the 26th Final for Isabell stretching back to 1992, when she won the first of five titles. For Lottie, this will be her third World Cup. She won the Grand Prix on Everdale at last year’s competition then was eliminated.
