WELLINGTON, Florida, Mar. 16, 2025–Alice Tarjan rode Orado to victory to round out the final qualifier in the first year of the Future Challenge for horses aged 5 and 6 to join two of her other horses expected to compete during the last week of the winter-long Global Dressage Festival.

In the Future Challenge designed to be similar to requirements for both Big and Small Tour events implemented at Global, Alice and the 6-year-old Orado (Desperado x Glock’s Johnson) were awarded 82.600%.

JJ Glory Day, owned by Alice and ridden by Marcus Orlob, is qualified for the fifth final of the Lövsta Future Challenge of developing Grand Prix horses.

And Jane, the Paris Olympic mount for Marcus that captured both the CDI3* Grand Prix and Special this weekend is expected to compete at Global seeking to assure being included in the six rider and horse combinations to go to Europe to compete at German events at Hagen and Aachen.

The Buffalo Wild Wings Future Challenge Prix St. Georges was won by Canada’s Belinda Trussell on Quincy, which qualified with a win earlier in the series.

The two qualifiers from Sunday’s qualifier were Andreas Woodard of Wellington on the eight-year-old Roxette (Revolution x Quite Easy) and Canada’s Camille Carier Bergeron on MSJ Fürst Zonik, aged eight (Fürstenball OLD x Glock’s Zonik).
