HERNING, Denmark, Mar. 9, 2025–Annabella Pidgley claimed her first senior victory in two years on Vamos Amigos Sunday in the Danish Warmblood Stallion Show CDI3* Grand Prix Special.
The 20-year-old British rider was awarded 70.660% for the win on the Westfalen gelding aged 13.
Greta Heemsoth of Germany on Anthrazit, the debut international event for the 11-year-old Westfalen gelding, was runner-up on 69.617%.
Denmark’s Nanna Skodborg Merrald and Blue Hors Znickers, 12-year-old Oldenburg stallion, placed third on 69.362%.
Annabella began competing Vamos Amigos at CDIs in early 2023 after Danish superstar Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour led her team to gold at the 2022 World Championships and was reserve champion at the 2022 World Cup Final.
Annabella was successful over the the next two years in the Under-25 division but also was on Britain’s bronze medal team at the premier World Equestrian Festival in Aachen, Germany in 2023.
