AMSTERDAM, Jan. 25, 2025–Charlotte “Lottie” Fry and Glamourdale won the World Cup Freestyle with Olympic team mate Becky Moody on Jagerbomb logging another personal best to give Britain the top two places Saturday. Isabell Werth on DSP Quantaz placed third to maintain their lead in Western Europe leading to the championship Final in Basel, Switzerland in April.
Lottie and the 14-year-old World Championship mount scored 89.840% for the winning ride after capturing the Grand Prix a day earlier.
Becky Moody and her home-bred 11-year-old “Bomb” were awarded a personal best 86.500% for the second day in a row. Becky and the Dante Weltino OLD offspring burst into the top ranks of global dressage when the rider was called up at the last minute for the Paris Olympics where the British team won bronze.
Isabell, the most decorated Olympian in more than a century of Olympic equestrian sports, placed third on the 15-year-old gelding Quantaz received 85.265%.
The next World Cup qualifier in Western Europe is in Neumünster, Germany Feb. 13-16.
