FRANKFURT, Germany, Dec. 22, 2024–Juan Matute Guimon on Lexus won the CDI5* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday for the first Big Tour victory in their debut musical performance.

Juan and the eight-year-old  KWPN stallion scored 76.510% to wrap up their first year at Big Tour.

The rider for Spain who was raised in Wellington, Florida before moving to his homeland six years ago competed at Small Tour in 2023.

Germany’s Juliane Brunkhorst on Aperol, 13-year-old Holsteiner stallion, was runner-up on 76.370%.

Fellow German Laura Strobel on the 13-year-old Westfalen stallion Valparaiso placed third on 75.905%.
