SALZBURG, Austria, Dec. 8, 2024–Sandra Sysojeva, on her “one horse in a million,” the eight-year-old Maxima Bella, on Sunday won the Amadeus Indoor CDI5* Grand Prix Freestyle with another personal best score.
The Polish Olympic rider and the Oldenburg mare scored 83.410% for the musical performance after capturing the Grand Prix two days ago also on a personal best result.
The victory was the 16th in 21 starts since beginning Big Tour in February, highlighted by the Paris Olympic and ending the year at the pair’s first 5*, the highest level of competition.
The first place for Sandra and Maxima Bella was unanimous by the panel of five judges–with top score of 84.375% and a lot of 82.125%.
Maxima Bella (Millenium x Christ 3), said Sandra, was a “one in a million… a once in a lifetime horse.”
Patrik Kittel of Sweden on Touchdown, the 12-year-old Swedish Warmblood gelding that he also competed in Paris, was runner-up on 81.625%.
Denmark’s Daniel Bachmann Andersen on the 12-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding Marshall-Bell placed third on 81.050%.
