Monica Theodorescu, the German head dressage team coach, and Christine Traurig, United States dressage chef d’equipe, will feature at the U.S. Dressage Federation 2025 FEI-Level Trainers Conference at Mary Anne McPhail’s High Meadow Farm, in Loxahatchee, Florida Jan. 20-21.
Monica was on three German Olympic gold medal teams as well as the championship team at the inaugural World Equestrian Games, claimed two World Cup titles and was on five European Championship teams, taking two team and one individual golds as well as other medals. She was appointed national team coach in 2012.
Christine was on the U.S. 2000 bronze medal team. She has been an official coach for several years including for development and was appointed chef d’equipe of the American team in late 2023.
USDF President George Williams said: “I am thrilled that USDF is able to offer this fantastic opportunity to gain insights from Monica, one of the most successful national coaches out there, and from Christine with her extensive background and well-trained eye. I have no doubt that Monica and Christine will be a dynamic combination. I, for one, look forward to learning from them as they share their expertise during the 2025 conference.”
The trainers conference is designed to provide continuing education for dressage trainers and instructors.
Auditor registration for the conference opens Nov. 15.
