Olympic jumping champion Christian Kukuk of Germany received the 2024 FEI Best Athlete Award Wednesday.

Christian rode Checker 47, co-owned by Bayern Munich footballer Thomas Müller, to individual gold at the Olympics in Paris.

The 21-year-old Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzooqi who competed Enjoy de la Mure in jumping at Paris for the United Arab Emirates was named FEI Rising Star.

FEI Best Groom award went to Bettina Cardinael of France. She is groom for Belgium’s eventing rider Lara De Liederkerke, winner of the Lumühlen CCI5* and competed in Paris.

The Namibian Equestrian Federation received the FEI Inspire Award for its development program ‘Enabling Through the Horse.’
