The logo of the World Championships Aachen 2026 was unveiled Wednesday.
Preparations were reported to be “well underway” for the championships of dressage and para-dressage, jumping, eventing, driving and vaulting with 650 days to go to the Aug. 11-23, 2026 event.
“The excitement rises from day to day,” said Stefanie Peters, President of the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein (ALRV) that is organizing the championships.
“Aachen has proven to be a welcoming and dynamic host many times. We especially remember the FEI World Equestrian Games 2006, which still resonates with everyone who was there. We are very proud to once again offer equestrian sport the perfect stage for world-class performances, complete with that special Aachen atmosphere.”
The design combines purple and gold and featuring a distinctive “W” integrating icons from each of the six disciplines symbolizes what Stefanie said was both “world” and “welcome” in alignment with the championship theme, “welcome home.”
FEI Secretary General Sabrina Ibáñez said: “The unveiling of the logo for the FEI World Championships 2026 in Aachen is more than just a visual milestone–it’s a symbol of our shared excitement and ambition. Aachen is a place that has consistently set the standard for equestrian sport, and this new logo reflects both the tradition and innovation that will define the championships. We are looking forward to welcoming the world to this iconic venue once again, where athletes, horses, and fans will come together to create unforgettable memories.”
Aachen is regarded as the world’s premier horse show with annual competitions of dressage, eventing, jumping, driving and vaulting. In addition to the 2006 WEG of all the international disciplines at that time it was also the host of the 2015 European Championships of dressage, driving, jumping, reining and vaulting as well as a CIOC3* event.
Tickets for all six disciplines are available at the online ticketshop or by calling +49-241-9171111.
