Kasey Perry-Glass rode Heartbeat W.P. to a personal best in the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle at Hagen, Germany as the American Olympian competes the 12-year-old stallion in Europe for the first time since the beginning of their partnership.
Kasey and Heartbeat that she began competing at Big Tour not much more than three months ago at Wellington, Florida was runner-up on 75.280% in the musical performance to Denmark’s Nanna Skodborg Merald on Blue Hors Znickers.
Kasey had a highly successful career on Dublet, on the U.S. bronze medal team at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro amd the silver medal team at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon in 2018.
With coaching from Debbie McDonald, she first competed Heartbeat at CDI in Wellington earlier this year.
The duo competed in the qualifiers for the U.S. Olympic short list but although not selected elected to come to Europe alongside the squad.
