AACHEN, Germany, May 21, 2024–In their first competition of this Olympic year, world champions Charlotte “Lottie” Fry and Glamourdale won the Aachen Dressage Days CDI3* Grand Prix Tuesday .

The British rider and the 13-year-old KWPN stallion that became world champion in 2022 were awarded 78.935% for the victory in the duo’s first CDI since the European Championships last September.

The duo were ranked first by all five judges, with scores ranging from a high mark of 80.217% to a low of 76.413%. Four of the judges awarded marks of 10 for extended canter.

Germany’s Matthias Alexander Rath on Destacado FRH, 11-year-old Hanoverian stallion, was runner-up on a personal best 75.543%.

Isabel Freese of Norway on the 12-year-old Totilas stallion Total Hope OLD were third on 74.500%.
