MUNICH, Germany, May 10, 2024–Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and TSF Dalera BB dominated the Pferd International CDI5* Grand Prix Friday as the German combination prepares for the Paris Olympics 11 weeks away.
In only the second performance so far this year, the world No. 1 partnership scored 82.131% for the 33rd straight victory beginning with the Tokyo Olympics three years ago.
Jessica and Dalera, now 17 years old, swept the Tokyo Games and have since gone on to dominate dressage including two European Championships and two World Cup Finals.
Ingrid Klimke on Franziskus FRH, her 2023 Omaha World Cup Final mount, was runner-up on 75.609%. Ingrid and the 16-year-old Hanoverian stallion were the unanimous choice for first place before Dalera performed as 13th in the lineup of 14 riders and horses.
To complete Germany filling the top three places, Anabel Balkenhol on High Five FRH, 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding, posted a personal best 73.174%.
