MUNICH, Germany, May 9, 2024–Sönke Rothenberger rode Matchball OLD to a personal best score to win Pferd International CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday.
Sönke and the 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding scored 75.195% for the third victory in six starts so far this year and to lead a German sweep of the top four places.
Yara Reichert and the 10-year-old Swedish Warmblood stallion Springbank II VH also logged a personal best score of 70.761% for runner-up.
Charlott-Maria Schürmann on Ivar, 11-year-old KWPN gelding, placed third on 70.391%.
