LIER, Belgium, Mar 2, 2024–Therese Nilshagen aiming the 17-year-old Dante Weltino OLD for the second Olympics for the Swedish partnership won the CDI4* Grand Prix Saturday in their first competition of the year.

Therese celebrating the start of the stallion’s eighth year at international Grand Prix scored 73.848% for the win. Therese and Dante Weltino competed at the Tokyo Olympics and is aiming for a place on Sweden’s team at the Paris Games this summer.

German team rider Dorothee Schneider and Dayman, 12-year-old Westfalen gelding, was runner-up on 73.522%.

Becky Moody of Great Britain on the 10-year-old British-bred gelding Jagerbomb–sired by Dante Weltino–placed third on 72.543%.
