Winyamaro, the Hanoverian gelding that Catherine Haddad competed in Europe and the United States for two years, has died at the age of 24.

A highlight of Winyamaro’s career was Catherine competing at the World Cup Final in Leipzig, Germany in 2011.

The horse (Walt Disney I x Trapper) was ridden in 12 CDIs in Europe and three in the United States in 2010 and 2011.

Winyamaro was retired to the farm of U.S. Olympic jumping gold medalist Beezie Madden in Cazenovia in central New York for the past two years.
