WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 13, 2024–Anna Marek and Fire Fly won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday to complete a double victory at the Global Dressage Festival in her campaign to be selected for her first European competition ahead of the Paris Olympics.
Anna of the Ocala area community of Dunnellon and the 14-year-old KWPN gelding scored 70.915% for the win two days after capturing the Grand Prix.
Great Britain’s Susan Pape on the 10-year-old Oldenburg stallion Harmony’s V-Plus was awarded 69.234% for runner-up, as they were in the Grand Prix.
Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén, Sweden’s seven-time Olympian, was third on Hyatt, 12 year-old KWPN mare, with a score of 68.830%.
