Germany’s Katharina Hemmer on Denoix PCH.

FRANKFURT, Germany, Dec. 16, 2023–Katharina Hemmer on Denoix PCH won the CDI5* Grand Prix Special Saturday to claim a double victory, both on personal best scores.

Katharina and the 11-year-old Oldenburg stallion scored 76.659% in the Special, a day after posting 73.826% in the Grand Prix.

The pair took over the ride earlier this year from Hubertus Schmidt who is listed as an owner along with Nancy Gooding of the United States.

Germany’s 2022 World Championship team duo of Benjamin Werndl and Famoso OLD, 14-year-old Oldenburg gelding, was runner-up on 75.745%.

Svenja Kämper-Meyer on the 10-year-old Hanoverian mare Amanyara M FRH was third on 71.702% for a German sweep of the top three places.
