LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Nov. 9, 2023–Lauren Chumley rode the seven-year-old Leeloo Dallas to the U.S. Dressage Federation Prix St. Georges Championships Thursday, one of open and amateur titles decided on the first day of the Finals of riders and horses qualifying through regional championships.

Lauren of Pittstown, New Jersey and the Dutch Warmblood mare scored 70.833% for the win in the 10th year of the Finals.

Brandi Benedict of Lovettsville, Virginia on Hadassah, an eight-year-old Hanoverian mare, was runner-up on 68.431%. Heather McCarthy of Union, Illinois on the 10-year-old Hanoverian mare Lady In Red WS placed third on 68.382%.

The Intermediate II open championship was won by Jennifer Truett of Lebanon, Ohio, on Absolute Dream, nine-year-old Westfalen gelding, scoring 68.235%.

Michael Bragdell of Colora, Maryland on the nine-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding Vallos Dreaming Marong was reserve champion on 68.039%.
