ZURICH, Aug. 20, 2023–Franziska Stieglmaier on Samurai won the Zurich Masters CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday, the first Big Tour musical performance victory for the German Nations Cup team partnership.

Franziska and the 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored a personal best 74.920% for the win. The pair were on teams that took gold in Budapest and silver at Rotterdam, both in June.

Switzerland’s Gilles Ngovan on Zigzag, 15-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, was runner-up on 73.040%.

Pablo Gómez Molina of Spain and the 13-year-old PRE gelding Ulises de Ymas were third on 73.025%.
