CROZET, France, Aug. 6, 2023–Sönke Rothenberger, a German Olympian, and Matchball OLD won the Jiva Hill CDI5* Grand Prix Freestyle on a personal best score Sunday. Sweden’s Patrik Kittel and Bonamour took the Special.
Sönke and the 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding scored 80.765% for the win.
Alexandre Ayache of France on the 11-year-old Danish Warmblood mare Jolene was runner-up on 77.375%.
Charlotte Defalque of Belgium and Botticelli, 17-year-old KWPN stallion, was third on 76.725%.
Sweden’s Patrik Kittel and Bonamour, 13-year-old Westfalen stallion, won their first CDI5* Grand Prix Special together on score of 74.021%.
Morgan Barbançon of France on Habana Libre A, 11-year-old KWPN gelding, was runner-up on 73.511%.
Compatriot Pauline Basquin on Sertorius de Rima Z IFCE, 13-year-old Zangersheide gelding, was third on 72.958%.
