CROZET, France, Aug. 6, 2023–Patrik Kittel rode the borrowed Galleria’s Bohemian to victory in the Jiva Hill CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday.
The Swedish Olympian and the 13-year-old Westfalen gelding were awarded 73.511% for the win. The victory came after a third place finish in the Grand Prix that was the first competition for the duo after Patrik said that Galleria Sportfede owned by Deong Son Kim of Korea agreed to lend the horse. The Korean rider had announced that horses acquired by Galleria and some that he competed at the Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida last summer were for sale as he focused on his family’s business.
Bohemian was competed by Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour of Denmark since 2017 and included the Tokyo Olympics and the 2021 European Championships.
Diana Porsche of Austria on the nine-year-old Hanoverian gelding Dahoud was second on 70.447%.
Belgium’s Larissa Pauluis and First-Step Valentin, 11-year-old Westfalen stallion, placed third on 70.234%.
