QUAKERTOWN, Pennsylvania, June 25, 2023–James Koford made the Grand Prix Freestyle debut of Hatsjie B on Sunday to claim a double victory in the CDI3* in only the second Big Tour competition for the partnership.
James of Southern Pines, North Carolina and the 11-year-old KWPN gelding scored 70.565% for the musical performance two days after winning the Grand Prix.
The duo’s first international competition was last month and now has logged three victories in four starts.
Canada’s Evi Strasser on Disney Tyme, 15-year-old Oldenburg gelding, was runner-up on 70.495%.
