GEESTEREN, Netherlands, June 10, 2023–Denise Neckeman and the 17-year-old Boston STH won the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle for the second victory in five years at Big Tour for the Dutch partnership.

Denise and the KWPN stallion, on five European Championships silver medal teams, scored 75.400% for the victory.

Canada’s Naïma Moreira Laliberté on the 16-year-old Hanoverian stallion Statesman scored 74.345% for runner-up, the highest placing for the partnership since Naïma based herself in Spain early last year. Naïma competed as an individual at last year’s World Championships and was on Canada’s Pan American Games gold medal team in 2019.

Germany’s Ann-Kathrin Lindner on FBW Lord of Dance, 11-year-old Baden-Württemberg gelding, placed third on 73.295%.
