PILISJÁSZFALU, Hungary, June 9, 2023–Franziska Stieglmaier rode Samurai to a personal best score to lead Germany to victory in the CDIO3* Nations Cup Grand Prix Special with Hungary taking silver. Poland that earned a Paris Olympics team start a day earlier and Israel didn’t finish the Special with three rider and horse combinations.
Franziska and the 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 71.234% and notched the pair’s first international victory to lead Germany to a total of 416.873 after the competition of the Grand Prix and the Special over two days. Hungary accumulated 405.301 to take silver.
