SHERWOOD, Oregon, June 4, 2023–Pia Fortmüller and her 12-year-old mare Frieda won the Ginny Rattner Memorial CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday for the Canadian partnership’s first double victory at Big Tour.

Pia and the 12-year-old Hanoverian mare scored 68.106% for the victory. The pair that has competed on both side of the Atlantic won the Grand Prix earlier.

Fellow Canadian Sara Pocock on Connaisseur, a 16-year-old Hanoverian stallion in the first international Grand Prix, were awarded 66.596% for runner-up.

Rochelle Kilberg also of Canada and her 13-year-old KWPN gelding Florentino in the pair’s first international competition won the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle on a score of 70.295% Saturday.
