SEGOVIA, Spain, April 16, 2023–Spain’s Alejandro Asencio Mendez and Gaviao Dos Cedros won the Grand Prix Special Sunday for a double victory at Segovia CDI3*.

Alejandro and the 12-year-old Lusitano gelding were awarded 74.404% for the win in the pair’s first completed Big Tour Special. The duo took the Grand Prix two days ago.

Guillermo Garcia Ayala and the 11-year-old PRE mare Poeta de Susaeta was runner-up on 70.979%.

Claudio Castilla Ruiz on Hi-Rico do Sobral capped Spain’s sweep of the top three places with a score of 69.8515
