OMAHA, Nebraska, April 6, 2023–Franziskus FRH ridden by Germany’s Ingrid Klimke has been withdrawn from the World Cup Final after a “misstep” and will not compete in the Freestyle Friday night. The Netherlands’ Dinja van Liere withdrew Hermes before competing in the Grand Prix.
“The stallion had a misstep,” the organizers of the event said in a brief statement.
“I am sad that we cannot compete in the Freestyle tomorrow,” Ingrid said. “The welfare of Franziskus is a priority to me. Considering the coming outdoor season, we have withdrawn him from the Freestyle.”
