WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 26, 2023–German team rider Frederic Wandres rode Bluetooth OLD to victory in the CDI4* Grand Prix Thursday dominating the second Global Dressage Festival event after sweeping this year’s opening competition with a sweep on Hot Hit OLD.
Frederic and the 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding scored 74.326% for the win with European combinations filling the top six places.
Sweden’s Caroline Darcourt on the 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding Lord Django was runner-up on a personal best score of 71.587%.
Germany’s Anna-Christian Abbelen also posted a personal best 71.044% for third place on Sam Donnerhall, 16-year-old Oldenburg gelding.
