FRANKFURT, Germany, Dec. 16, 2022–Isabell Werth rode Emilio to victory in the CDI5* Grand Prix Friday, the fourth win in eight starts for the partnership this year.
Isabell and 16-year-old Westfalen gelding scored 74.631% for the win starting the eighth year at Big Tour for the German pair.
Patrik Kittel of Sweden on the 10-year-old Westfalen mare Forever Young HRH was runner-up on 73.630%.
Germany’s Matthias Alexander Rath and Destacado FRH, a nine-year-old Hanoverian stallion, placed third on 72.870%.
