The United States has set an ambitious schedule of fielding teams at all six Nations Cup events in the trans-Atlantic series for 2023 after three years of Covid-19 disruptions.
The series that was launched in 2013 begins with the Wellington Global Dressage Festival CDIO3* in February and runs through Falsterbob, Sweden in mid-July. The series in 2023 is the
In the nine years that the series has been staged–it was canceled altogether in 2020 the first year of the pandemic–USA Dressage fielded teams in at least two events and as many as six.
The United States was champion of the series in 2016. However, in two years the Wellington event did not count as the minimum of four teams was not met.
The schedule for 2023:
–Wellington, Florida CDIO3*/CDIOU25 – Feb. 22-26;
–Compiegne, France CDIO5* – May 4-7;
–Rotterdam. Netherlands CDIO5* – June 22-25;
–Aachen, Germany CDIO5* – June 27-July 2;
–Knokke, Belgium CDIO4* – July 5-9;
–Falsterbo, Sweden CDIO5* – July 13-16, 2023
The U.S. also plans Under-25 and Young Rider European tours as well Young Rider competition at Aachen.
