STUTTGART, Germany, Nov. 13, 2022–Matthias Alexander Rath and Destacado FRH won the CDI4* Grand Prix Special Sunday to boost to seven the number of Big Tour victories captured by the nine-year-old stallion so far this year.

Matthias and Destacado were awarded 75.234% for the Special performance after capturing the Grand Prix on a score of 74.174%.

Matthias and Destacado were successful in world young championships for horses aged five and six-years .

In 2021, the first year at Big Tour, the pair posted three second places in four starts.

But in 2022, Matthias and Destacado have won seven of their eight starts, the other a second place.

Carina Scholz on the 14-year-old Oldenburg mare Soiree D’Amour OLD, was runner-up on 73.596%

Jasmin Schaudt and Fano, 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding posted a personal best 72.170% for a German sweep of the top placings.
