Suppenkasper, ridden by Steffen Peters to Olympic and world championship team silver medals, was the top ranked horse in the United States while First Apple competed by Sarah Tubman made it into the top 50 for the first time.

Suppenkasper, 14-year-old KWPN gelding, ranked No. 14 in the world, up one place from the standings at the end of September when a new ranking system separating horses and riders was implemented by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) in place of single rankings of combinations.

Salvino, the 15-year-old Hanoverian stallion that Adrienne Lyle competed on the same silver medal teams at the World Equestrian Games in 2018 and the Olympics in Tokyo, dropped to 31st from No. 8 the previous month.

Both Adrienne on Salvino and Steffen on Suppenkasper were on the American team at the world championships in August that earned a start at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

First Apple, that Sarah Tubman claimed a double victory in the first World Cup event for the pair, moved up to 47th, their first time in the top 50.

Sarah and First Apple, a KWPN stallion now 12 years old, won Pan American Games individual and freestyle gold at Small Tour 2019.
