AARHUS, Denmark, Oct. 23, 2022–Dorothee Schneider rode Sisters Act MT OLD to a personal best score to win the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday.
The German team rider and the 10-year-old Oldenburg mare scored 74.213% for the win, the third in seven starts since beginning Grand Prix two months ago. The pair competed in the world young horse championships at five, six and seven years of age.
Denmark’s Andreas Helgstrand and the eight-year-old Danish Warmblood mare Queenparks Wendy that won the Grand Prix was runner-up in the Special on 73.085%. Andreas and Wendy, that won the Grand Prix a day earlier, was also successful at the ages of five and seven in the world young horse championships.
There was a wide range of scores between the five judges with three awarding Dorothee and Sisters Act the top place . Two chose the Danish pair, one with a high score of 77.447% while another awarded 69.681%.
Charlotte Heering of Denmark and Bufranco, a 16-year-old KWPN gelding, was third on 71.106%.
