TROISDORF, Germany, Oct. 6, 2022–Manuel Dominguez Bernal of Spain rode Quentano to victory in the CDI4* Grand Prix Thursday, a debut Big Tour competition for the Spanish rider who has been successful with young horses in the past two years.

Manuel and the 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding was awarded 70.935% for the win.

Manuel was reserve champion on Escamillo at 2021 World Young Horse Championships and took bronze at the championships this year.

Germany’s Andrea Timpe on Don Darwin, a 19-year-old Oldenburg gelding, was second on 69.152%.

Compatriot Annabel Frenzen on the 11-year-old Rhineland gelding SilberStern FRH was third on 68.717%.
