ORNAGO, Italy, Oct. 2, 2022–Morgan Barbançon of France and Bolero on Sunday won the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle on a personal best score to complete a double victory for the second show in a row.
Morgan and the 16-year-old KWPN gelding scored 76.760% two days after winning the Grand Prix.
Fancesco Zaza on Wispering Romance, 19-year-old Hanoverian mare, placed second on 75.905%, also a personal best for the Italian partnership that competed at last year’s Tokyo Olympics.
Estonia’s Grete Ayache on Farao da Raia, 12-year-old Lusitano gelding, were third on 73.315%.
