LUDWIGSBURG, Germany, Sept. 24, 2022–Isabell Werth and Emilio made it 2-for-2 at the Ludwigsburg CDI4* winning the Freestyle Saturday a day after capturing the Grand Prix.

Isabell and the 16-year-old Westfalen gelding were awarded 84.125% for the musical performance that was the third victory in four starts this year.

This event began the eighth year at Big Tour for Emilio that was first competed at international Grand Prix Sept. 11, 2015 and has logged 45 victories in 73 starts.

Benjamin Werndl and the 18-year-old Daily Mirror, a Westfalen gelding, scored 82.155% for runner-up as the pair was in the Grand Prix..

Dorothee Schneider and First Romance, a 12-year-old Baden-Württemberg gelding, placed third on a score of 80.435%, the first Big Tour Freestyle for the pair and that completed a German sweep of the top three places.

Dorothee and First Romance made their Big Tour debut at the inaugural Ludwigsburg event a year ago. The pair captured the German Small Tour Championship Nürnberger Burg-Pokal in 2018.
