DONAUESCHINGEN, Germany, Aug. 21, 2022–Dorothee Schneider and Faustus won the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday for the fifth straight victory and seventh in 10 starts this year.

Dorothee and the 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 77.125% for the win. The pair won the Grand Prix two days ago.

Dorothee and the 10-year-old Oldenburg mare Sisters Act won the Grand Prix Special Saturday after placing second to Faustus in the Grand Prix.

Faustus was reserve for the German team at the world championships earlier this month after Showtime FRH, Dorothee’s 2016 Rio Olympic and Tokyo Games team gold medal partner, was withdrawn. The duo was on the gold medal team at the European Championships a year ago.

The Netherlands’ Remy Bastings and Ambassador, 17-year-old KWPN gelding, were runner-up on 75.875%.

Anja Plönzke of Germany on Tannenhof’s Fahrenheit, 15-year-old Hanoverian stallion, placed third on 73.880%.
