SAMORIN, Slovakia, June 11, 2022–Alisa Glinka and Aachen won the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday for the third victory in the musical performance that sets the Moldova partnership on track for the Omaha Final next April.
Alisa and the 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding were awarded 73.425% to make the pair the clear leader in the Central European standings with the maximum of 60 points for the three wins this season.
Alisa’s start on Aachen at the Final two months ago was her in the world championship centered on the Freestyle. Central Europe is allocated two of the 18 starting places in the Final.
Lithuania’s Justina Vanagaite on Nabab, a nine-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding, placed second on 72.665%.
Anna Kleindienst-Jilly of Austria and Don for Fun, a 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding, were third on a personal best 69.800%.
Austria’s Diana Porsche on Douglas won the CDI3* Grand Prix with a score of 68.891%.
This was the first Big Tour victory for Diana and the 14-year-old KWPN gelding that moved to CDI Grand Prix three months ago. The pair competed as individual at the 2020 and 2021 European Under-25 Championships.
