MUNICH, Germany, May 27, 2022–Austria’s Victoria Max-Theurer and Birkhof’s Topas FBW won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Friday in the debut Big Tour event for the partnership of the four-time Olympian for Austria and the stallion by Totilas. Isabell Werth and Emilio were runner-up.
Vici and the 11-year-old Württemberger stallion scored 74.213% for the victory. Topas (Totilas x Sandro Hit) was acquired late last year by Vici, who is coached by Isabell.
Isabell and Emilio, a 16-year-old Westfalen gelding, scored 74.000% for runner-up. The pair competed here for the first time in a year and after only one CDI in 2021 and won the Grand Prix Thursday.
Fellow German Hubertus Schmidt on Beryll, a 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding, was third on 72.383%.
