CAMARMA DE ESTERUELAS, Spain,May 15, 2022–Spain’s Jose Daniel Martin Dockx rode Malagueno LXXXIII to a personal best score to win the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday.

Dani and the 12-year-old P.R.E. gelding scored 74.617% to beat the previous best result of 73.575% posted at this same event in the horse’s Big Tour debut a year ago. The pair won the Grand Prix Friday.

Alejandro Sánchez Del Barco and Quincallo de Indalo, an 11-year-old Spanish-bred stallion, was second on 72.915%%, also a personal best and only the second Grand Prix Special for the pair.

Brazil’s Pedro Manuel Tavares De Almeida and Famous do Vouga, a 13-year-old Lusitano gelding, were awarded 70.362% for third place and the third duo to receive a personal best score.
