GÖSSENDORF, Austria, April 15, 2022–Australia’s Simone Pearce and Destano won the CDI4* Grand Prix Friday in the first Big Tour competition for the Olympic partnership in seven months.
Simone, based in Germany, and the 15-year-old Hanoverian stallion scored 73.435% for the win that was the seventh in two years at international Grand Prix.
Austria’s Ulrike Prunthaller on Bartlgut’s Quarz placed second on 71.065% with compatriot Christian Schumach on Donna Karaco third on 70.304%.
Germany’s Lisa Müller riding Gut Wettlkam’s Stand By Me OLD in a CDI for the first time in 2 1/2 years won the CDI3* Grand Prix.
Lisa and the 15-year-old Oldenburg gelding were awarded 73.543% for the win, the second for the partnership in just over three years of Big Tour.
Bettina Kendlbacher of Austria on Don Alfredeo was second on 68.674% and Ulrike Prunthaller on Bartlgut’s Quantum third on 68.326%.
