OPGLABBEEK, Belgium, April 1, 2022–Great Britain’s Charlotte Fry on Glamourdale was the clear winner Friday on a personal best score of the Stentower Dressage Festival CDI3* Grand Prix spread over two days with 42 riders and horses.
Charlotte and the 11-year-old KWPN stallion scored 77.696% to beat the pair’s previous best of 76.761% posted 11 months agp.
Charlotte and Glamourdale (Lord Leatherdale x Negro) won the world seven-year-old championship in 2018.
Australia’s Lyndal Oatley and Elvive, 13-year-old KWPN mare, placed second on 72.087% Friday.
Belgium’s Larissa Pauluis on Flambeau were second Friday on 70.782% Germany’s Anja Plönzke and Tannenhof’s Fahrenheit placed second in Friday’s competition on 70.478% in the duo’s first international competition since last July.
Overall, Patrik Kittel of Sweden winner on Fuhur of the first day of the Grand Prix placed second with a score of 74.717% behind Charlotte and Glamourdale. Marieke van der Putten of the Netherlands on Torveslettens Titanium was third on 73.087%. Lyndal Oatley and Elvive were fourth.
