LIER, Belgium, Mar. 5, 2022–Autralia’s Lyndal Oatley and Eros posted a personal best score to win the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday, a day after riding to a career high Grand Prix result.

Lyndal, based in Germany, and the 13-year-old KWPN gelding scored 77.570% for the win in the fourth Big Tour musical performance for the partnership as they seek a start at the world championships in Herning, Denmark in August.

Belgium’s Larissa Pauluis on First-Step Valentin was second on 74.650% with fellow Belgian Jorinde Verwimp on Charmer third on 73.840%.

Germany’s Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier and Valencia AS won the Grand Prix Special
with a personal best 77.234%, only the third Special for the partnership since beginning Big Tour last July.

Melissa Galloway of New Zealand on Windermere J’Obei W, in their first international event outside their homeland, placed second on a personal best 72.085%.

Lynne Maas of the Netherlands on Eastpoint were third on 71.191%.
