THERMAL, California, Feb. 19, 2022–Steffen Peters and Suppenkasper completed their first post-Olympic silver medal with the Desert Dressage CDI3* Grand Prix Special in  which the pair was the sole starting combination.

Steffen of San Diego, California and the 14-year-old KWPN gelding (Spielberg x IPS Krack C) scored 75.021% that was below their Olympic Special result of 77.766%.  In their opening Grand Friday, the duo fulfilled Steffen’s goal of beating his Olympic Grand Prix score of 76.196%.

Of his Olympic silver medal team mates in Tokyo, Adrienne Lyle of Wellington, Florida and Salvino are in the lineup for the CDI5* at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center next week while Sabine Schut-Kery of San Marco, California has yet to decide on her first start on Sanceo.
