STOCKHOLM, Nov. 27, 2021–Olympic champions Jessica von Bredow Wendl and TSF Dalera BB won the Saab Top 10 CDI5* Grand Prix Saturday, created five years ago as the year-end competition offering the most prize money of any single dressage event.
The German rider and the 14-year-old Trakehner mare scored 83.435% for the win to extend the string of victories for the world’s No. 1 pair to seven in four months, three at the Olympics in July and three at the European Championships in September.
Cathrine Dufour of Denmark and Bohemian, world No. 2, were second on 79.196%.
Henri Ruoste on Kontestro DB, individual competitors for Finland at the Tokyo Games, placed third on 77.152%.
Swedish three-time Olympian Patrik Kittel, who created the event, rode Touchdown to fourth place on 76.957%.
