EXLOO, Netherlands, Oct. 23, 2021–Patrick van der Meer rode Chinook to victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday while Marieke van der Putten in the Big Tour debut event for the nine-year-old Torveslettens Titanium won the Grand Prix Special.
Patrick and the 14-year-old KWPN stallion scored 74.660% for the win.
Tommie Visser on Genesis Begijnhoeve, winner of the Grand Prix, were runner-up on 74.175%.
Marieke and the Danish Warmblood gelding, sired by Totilas, won the Special with a score of 71.575 after placing second in the Grand Prix a day earlier.
Patrick on Sephora S was second on 69.723%.
