THERMAL, California, Oct. 22, 2021–Carly Taylor-Smith and Rosalut NHF won the Desert Dressage CDI3* Grand Prix Friday on a personal best score for the pair’s first Big Tour victory.

Carly of Somis, California and the 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding scored 71.391% for the win. The previous best Grand Prix result was 68.413% posted in the pair’s debut Big Tour a year ago. The duo captured the U.S. Five-Year-Old Championship 2015.

Günter Seidel of Cardiff, California and Equirelle, a 12-year-old KWPN mare, placed second on 70.913%, also a personal best to beat their previous high of 70.413% set in April.

Jan Ebeling of Moorpark, California on Indeed was third on 68.587%.
